MGI South Queensland support and invest into individuals learning and development and encourage the sharing of 'Business Solutions' internally and externally to our clients.

We provide internal training on a fortnightly basis. Our Senior Staff present information on a topical subject or share their knowledge from an attended conference.

External technical and non-technical training is also provided to staff. We have an external body come to our offices on a monthly basis to provide taxation updates and special topics training.

As part of the MGI association we send selected staff on an annual basis to our Managers and Future Leaders conferences in various exciting locations throughout Australasia. The MGI association also hosts a tax intensive conference annually and again selected staff attend. This is also a great networking opportunity for our staff.

We also provide opportunities for our staff to attend various other conferences, courses, seminars on various technical or soft skill topics.

Mentoring is yet another way we support our staff. On commencement, staff are allocated a mentor to assist with all their questions and ensure the transition and settling in happens as quickly and smoothly as possible.

We also offer CA or CPA Program Support to employees undertaking these programs. This is done through:

• paid study leave for each module
• paid exam leave for each module
• extensive internal network of people to call upon
